Jeff Terry is a part time associate at MLBC. He and His wife Sherryl have been married for over 40 years and have three adult children and four grandchildren. He has previously served two churches as a full-time associate in the areas of Music, Youth, Senior Adult ministry and administration. He has led choirs and ensembles in the local church for 25 years as well as taught Bible and Music in Christian schools. In addition to his work at MLBC, he maintains his own contracting business. When possible he and Sherryl spend their time hiking in our beloved Blue Ridge Mountains.

Education: B.S. in Bible and Music, Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, Iowa.

Pastor Nate Merritt- Assistant pastor

Nate was ordained for Gospel ministry and called to be a volunteer Assistant Pastor by MLBC in September 2025. He is also a Staff Engineer at Logos Bible Software where he has worked in software development since 2014 (with the exception of a short break in 2025 to work on Bible translation software at BiblioNexus). From 2010-2013 he was on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Louisville doing campus ministry. Nate has served as a lay leader in multiple churches as a Sunday School teacher, Bible study leader, and home group leader. He has a Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. Nate lives in Boston, VA, with his wife, Lauren, and their three children, Daniel, Levi, and Grace.
